Attention: Airports are trying to kill the fashionistas of this world

Recently, I had a wonderful winter break and an awesome Christmas where I got wonderful gifts.  Some of those gifts were clothes, shoes, and accessories.  On the day I was flying back to school, I stupidly picked out a cute outfit to wear on the plane.  That just ended up being a struggle while going through security.  The first part of my outfit that caused me problems were my boots.  They were knee highs that zipped and buttoned.  Zippers and buttons are not good to have on shoes that you need to take off and quickly while in line.  I also decided to wear a belt, which is interesting because I never wear a belt.  Also, the belt was for looks.  It wasn't like I needed them to hold my pants so that was another thing to take off.  Along with that, I had to take off my big jacket that kept me warm from Oregon's cold.  I finally made it to the full body scanners.  However, my scarf that I was wearing kept swinging back and forth and they could not get an accurate scan.  I had to wrap the scarf tight around me so they could finally get a scan.  Then, I had to put everything back on while people are waiting on you to get out of the way.  It was such a hassle so I suggest keep it simple while at the airport.
